Avoca is a treatment for removing warts and verrucas. It can also remove excess tissue formed when wounds heal. The active ingredient in this treatment is silver nitrate, which when applied will destroy warts on the skin. Avoca comes in the form of a cutaneous stick.
How should Avoca The Complete Wart & Verruca 95% Silver Nitrate Treatment be used?
To use Avoca, you will need some other products to use this stick. These are:
A small amount of clean water
A clean non-absorbent surface, such as a drinking glass
Paper Tissue
Petroleum jelly
A firm surface to work on. Spread newspaper over it.
To use put a drop of water onto the clean surface and then place the tip of the Avoca stick into the water. Leave for 20 seconds. Apply the jelly to healthy skin to protect it from staining. Use the tip to apply the solution to the affected area of the skin. Allow the solution to dry and then wipe the tip of the stick. After 24 hours, file away any black surface on the skin using a nail buffer or emery board. Any remaining wart/verruca should be treated again. The treatment should be used once a day for 3 days for wart treatment, and once a day for 6 days for a verruca. If symptoms persist after using, speak to a doctor or our pharmacist for advice.
