Anusol Plus-HC Suppositories are rectal medications containing hydrocortisone, zinc oxide, and bismuth salts used to treat internal hemorrhoids (piles), anal itching, and rectal inflammation.
What They Contain
• Hydrocortisone acetate: A corticosteroid that reduces swelling, pain, and itching.
• Zinc oxide & Bismuth subgallate/oxide: Astringents and protectants that soothe and protect raw or sore tissue.
• Balsam Peru & Benzyl benzoate: Ingredients that promote healing and help prevent bacterial growth.
How to Use
• Administration: Wash and gently dry the anal area, remove the plastic cover, and insert one suppository rectally.
• Dosage: Typically use one suppository in the morning, one at night, and one after a bowel movement, up to a maximum of 3 per day.
