Inspired by a traditional Japanese style of green tea called matcha iri genmaicha, our tea combines crushed sencha and toasted rice (known as genmaicha – a centuries old Japanese tea blend) with finely powdered matcha. Our matcha hails from the verdant tea fields of Japan, where multigenerational farmers have been passing down organic farming practices for over 900 years.
